Chun-Le Guo

Chun-Le Guo is an associate professor at Nankai University.  Before that, he was a postdoc working with Prof. Ming-Ming Cheng at Nankai University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University in China under the supervision of Prof. Ji-Chang Guo. He conducted the Ph.D. research as a Visiting Student with the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), UK. Then he continued his research as a Research Associate with the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong (CityU of HK).

His research interests lie in image processing, computer vision, deep learning, particularly in the domains:

  1. Image and video restoration and enhancement, such as images captured under bad weather (hazy, foggy, sandy, dusty, rainy, snowy day) and special circumstances (underwater and weak illumination)
  2. AI ISP, such as raw denoising
  3. RGB-D data related applications, such as color image guided depth super-resolution reconstruction
  4. Light Field data related applications, such as light field depth estimation
